Kilwins is famous for their handcrafted chocolate—from chocolate bars to toffee to caramel apples and more. Their clusters and bark have a satisfying crunch, and the truffles are smooth and creamy. The caramel apples earn their name of “perfect”—made from Granny Smith apples and hand-dipped in copper-kettled-cooked caramel.
Perhaps the most famous item on their Hilton Head Island menu is Mackinac Island Fudge, which they cook in old-fashioned copper kettles and pour on cold marble slabs to cool.
