Sonny and Mary Ann Compher founded Dolphin & Nature Tour. Along with their love of Hilton Head Island and the outdoors, they have a deep affinity for the natural history and beauty embodied in Hilton Head’s coastal environment. Sonny and Mary Ann realized there was a need for high-quality guide-narrated water tours leaving Broad Creek. Thus, Dolphin & Nature Tour was born. The story continues with Sonny’s nephew Ted and his wife. They provide the same great trip with a family-oriented feel.
There are no gate fees, and you’ll enjoy plenty of free parking under the 200-year-old live oak trees. As you walk down our dock across the marsh, you will observe oyster beds, crabs, and wading birds.
