Loggerhead Hatchling Makes It To The Ocean

The most challenging journey for a Loggerhead hatchling is emerging from the boil of the nest and finding the ocean. During this time, they are feverishly hunted down by birds, including crows. When a hatchling makes it to the ocean, their treacherous journey is not over. They have to swim inconspicuously, avoid predation by fish and sharks, to find a slipstream of currents that optimizes their journey to maturity.
